I'm Ethan Popplestone. Beyond 99x started because I kept watching genuinely good barbershops, cafés and mechanics in Stellenbosch lose walk-ins to shops with worse service but better Google reviews.

That's not a marketing problem. It's a visibility problem — and it's fixable in weeks, not years, if someone actually does the unglamorous work: fixing your profile, getting the citations consistent, making it stupidly easy for happy customers to leave a review.

So I do that. Door to door, one storefront at a time, while finishing my degree.
